God
“The only true God is the Triune God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons in one divine being (the Holy Trinity)”. Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14.
Justification
“I believe that Jesus Christ, true God, begotten of the Father from eternity and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary, is my Lord, who has redeemed me, a lost and condemned person, purchased and won me from all sins, from death, and from the power of the devil; not with gold or silver, but with his Holy precious blood and with His innocent suffering and death, that I may be His own.” Romans 1:16-17.
Sanctification
The Holy Spirit sanctifies me (makes me holy) by bringing me to faith in Christ, so that I might have the blessings of redemption and lead a godly life”. I Corinthians 6:11.
Baptism
Baptism works forgiveness of sins, rescues from death and the devil, and gives eternal salvation to all who believe this, as the words and promises of God declare. Christ our Lord says in the last chapter of Mark:” Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned”. (Mark 16:16)
Sacrament of the Altar
The Sacrament of the Altar is the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ under the bread and wine, instituted by Christ himself, for us Christians to eat and to drink. Matthew 26:26-29.
Scripture
The Bible is “Holy Scripture” because God the Holy Spirit gave to His chosen writers the thoughts that they expressed and the words they wrote. (verbal inspiration). Therefore, the Bible is God’s own Word and Truth without error. 2 Timothy 3:14-17.
